How to Reset Canon MX886 Without Software

To reset Canon MX886 we do not need software, just follow this step then your printer will be reset.

Prepare 2 sheets of blank paper in the paper tray for reset  the printer cartridge MX886.

1. Position the printer is off and the power cable is connected to the electricity.
2. Press and hold the reset button, then press the power button, while the reset button remains on hold
3. Press the reset button 2x
4. Release all buttons
5. Wait until the Canon MX886 is idle and silent (Standby)
6. Press the reset button 1x, then the Power button 1x
7. Canon MX886 will print one page
8. Then press the reset button 2x
9. Canon MX886 will print the page again
10. Press the reset button 3x
11. Press the reset button 4x longer
12. Turn off the printer canon MX 886 by pressing the power on.

FYI: 1x = mean once, 2x = mean twice and so on
